The Purpose of TERO

The purpose of the Tribal Employment Rights Office is to ensure fair employment practices and expand opportunities for Community Members and Native American workers and businesses. TERO requires preference for qualified Community Members in all aspects of employment, provides preference to Native American Contractors for work on Prairie Island Indian Community Lands, and protects against discrimination.
